Our Friend Wounded in Shooting Incident

Our dear friend and fellow Steering Committee member, Anne Dickerson, is the victim of a shooting Wednesday afternoon while she was out jogging in Pigeon Point. After being treated at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Anne was airlifted to MUSC where she is now recovering from extensive surgery to repair the affected areas of her neck. She is in good spirits and has good vital signs. Unfortunately, no one can visit her because of COVID-19. Instead, please send good thoughts and good karma her way as she embarks on what may well be a long recuperation.
