The Town Hall staff, board of directors, performers, and presenters hope that you and your loved ones are well, and are all coping with the myriad challenges we are facing as a community.
It has been a little while since our last communication, so we wanted to take the opportunity to to bring you up to date on what has been happening (well, mostly NOT happening! :-) ) at the Town Hall Theatre.
In terms of known cancellations and postponements in our theatre and availability of ticket exchanges or refunds, we continue to work with the theatre production groups and concert organizers and will post updates as information becomes available. Please check our website if you have tickets to any shows for the latest status.
In-person box office access by the public remains suspended until further notice.
Shows that have been postponed or cancelled:
Disney’s The Little Mermaid – presented by SCS Musicals – postponed to November/December, 2020. If you had tickets for this show, they have been moved to the corresponding dates in the fall.
No Sugar Tonight – The All-Canadian Tribute to The Guess Who, B.T.O., and Burton Cummings – Presented by Bill Culp Productions has been cancelled. You can exchange your tickets for one of the Bill Culp fall shows, or request a refund.
Shania Twin – A Tribute to Shania Twain – Presented by Ultimate Artists Live has been postponed to September 25th. If you had tickets for this show, they have been moved to corresponding seats for September 25th.
The Wilkinsons – Presented by RoadRunner Talent has been postponed to September 19th. If you had tickets for this show, they have been moved to corresponding seats for September 19th.
The Edge of Dylan – Presented by Randy Shook has been postponed to September 12th. If you had tickets for this show, they have been moved to corresponding seats for September 12th.
Tonight’s the Night – A Tribute to Rod Stewart – Presented by Bill Culp Productions has been cancelled. You can exchange your tickets for one of the Bill Culp fall shows, or request a refund.
All events relating to Small Town Big – the Port Perry Arts Festival scheduled for early May have been cancelled.
We also regret to announce that Theatre on the Ridge’s 2020 Summer Festival has also been postponed, with no new dates yet announced.

Township of Scugog’s current directives:
Under the Declaration of Municipal Emergency in effect for Scugog and following the direction and guidance of Regional and Provincial Health information and orders, the Township of Scugog will extend the closure of all public facilities and the cancellation of programs and events until July 3, 2020.
This closure includes the municipal office, public facilities, parks and other recreation amenities. The closure includes the cancellation of in person public open houses, statutory public meetings, council advisory committees, committee of adjustment, recreation programs as well as large events such as Canada Day.
Any updates regarding the Township’s response to COVID-19 will be communicated online at scugog.ca/news and through social media @TwpofScugog.
