Dear Fabyan Families:
We know life got flip-turned upside down this year, and we’ve all been working hard to do the best job we can. Because of our school closures and social distancing precautions, Fabyan PTO will be changing up our Teacher Appreciation events for Fabyan Faculty and Staff.
Below are two ways you can choose to recognize all the love and hard work our Fabyan staff give us every day, but especially during these difficult times! PTO understands the demands being placed on all of you right now. We are grateful for all support and participation!
1) Download and print this sign and have your kids decorate it for our staff! Or make your own thank you sign! Take a photo with your kid(s) with the sign and email it to President@fabyanpto.org before Friday, May 1st, at 5pm. We will collect all the photos and make a slideshow for our staff to view privately. To protect your privacy, no photos will be posted online.
2) In lieu of the luncheon and events in our planned Teacher Appreciation Week, we have opted to present our staff with gift cards from local businesses: Graham’s Chocolates and Harvey’s Tales Bookstore.
PTO has budgeted funds for Teacher Appreciation, but we will also gratefully accept donations to supplement the cost of these gift cards. Each Fabyan teacher and staff member will be acknowledged with a gift. If your family would like to contribute, please make your tax-deductible donation directly through our website by signing into www.FabyanPTO.org, then click on the STORE tab. All donations must be collected before Friday, May 1st at 5pm.
PLEASE REMEMBER: Fabyan Elementary and its campus are completely closed. Please do not bring or leave ANY gifts or items at school at any time. Of course, any digital expression of gratitude and appreciation is always welcome.
