E-Learning Continues Through 4th Quarter
Today, Governor Roy Cooper and NC educational leaders announced the decision to maintain the current physical closure of in-person instruction through the end of the 2019-2020 academic year. The Governor thanked the personnel and agencies who have stepped up to roll out e-learning tools and curricula, and announced new partnerships with AT&T and Duke Energy to expand the availabily of WiFi hotspots for families who still struggle with access to broadband Internet access.

In an April 23 press release, The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction described the year-end grading policy for K-12 public schools across the state. The release also outlined the short- and long-term priorities and goals to support and validate the efforts of our students, staff, and teachers during this difficult time.

State officials will provide additional year-end information and resources during the next few days.
