President Donald Trump’s suggestion that Americans should inject themselves with household disinfectants as a coronavirus remedy provoked an apparently universal rebuke Friday — including from congressional lawmakers, the medical community and the makers of the cleaning products themselves.

"I see the disinfectant — where it knocks it out in a minute, one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?" Trump said.

Coronavirus Live Updates: City of Houston Handing Out Free Masks & Food Today (4/25/2020)

The Houston Food Bank is gearing up for a second mass food distribution at NRG Stadium on Saturday. The NRG yellow lot will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. Approximately 5,000 packages of food will be handed out to families in need.

Houston and Harris County residents will now be required to wear facial masks when they go outside starting April 27, 2020. The City of Houston is opening up sites that will be distributing free masks starting today.
