- Settlement Agreements – We have started to issue refunds and the first cheque run is ready for mailing this week. We are currently processing the remaining settlement agreements and will run another series of cheques this Friday. To date, we have still not received any money from the Enerecare Centre but we do have their letter stating the partial rent refund of 70%. If you have requested a 100% transfer to one of the BILD 2020/2021 Home Shows, we will apply your credit upon reviewing the 2021 floor plan and confirming locations with you.

- 2021 Home Show Floor Plan – In an effort to continuously evolve and manage consumer expectations, the 2021 floor plan has been redesigned. Our initial plan was to communicate this to you at the show. For the 2020 show, we rebranded the event, repositioned the focus to broaden the appeal, created enhanced experiences & activations and added a new way for consumers to shop the show via their mobile devices. In 2021, the floor is being designed to accommodate all this and create a visual change. Most noticeably, we have created a central ‘hub’ in the middle of the floor hosting food and beverage with a large seating area. This will be the main gathering place at the show, rather like a town square. It will help with navigation and is expected to encourage people to stay longer. The floor sections will also relocate to improve navigation and simplicity. Finally, Hall A entrance will be closed and used exclusively for RE/MAX VIP ticket holders, leaving Heritage Court (mainly for public transit users) and Hall B (mainly for those driving) as the two main entrances and exits. Ensuring you are located in the best position for you and the flow of traffic will involve some discussion and so we will be reaching out in the coming days with a floor plan.
