Today's Daily Generosity Idea

As we stay six feet away from our neighbors and social distancing takes on an ever-evolving meaning, it’s easy to feel isolated and lonely. There are many ways that you can stay connected with your family and friends without compromising your health. Call your neighbors to see how they’re doing, or video chat with a friend to ease anxiety and offer support.
  • ☎️ Call someone you know who might be alone during this crisis. Check in on how they're doing, share stories and see if there's anything they need.
  • 📅 Schedule a daily or weekly check-in time with an elderly relative to give them a bright spot to look forward to.
  • 📱 Coordinate a video chat with friends and family to make your calls feel more like you're there in person.

See It In Action

The GivingTuesdayKids had an impromptu video chat yesterday to check in on each other, talk about the impact of coronavirus on their lives and plan for GivingTuesdayKids 2020.
