Keep all your devices up-to-date: Make it as difficult as possible for someone to hack you by ensuring all your computers and devices install updates promptly. This rule applies to almost any technology connected to a network — not just work devices – but also internet-connected TVs, baby monitors, security cameras, home routers, gaming consoles and/or even your car. To stay current, simply enable automatic updating whenever possible.

The annual U of T Three Minute Thesis competition is a unique opportunity for graduate students to present their research to a panel of non-specialist judges in a compelling way – in just three minutes. Recent regional and provincial epidemiological data contain some promising signs. As a result, the University can begin looking ahead to resuming some functions in the coming weeks. But the widely shared consensus is that we will not return to normal in one single step. We expect that the impact on U of T’s operations will be uneven, with some services and functions returning sooner than others.

CanSSOC Threat Feed Pilot Service Launch

The Canadian Shared Security Operations Centre (CanSSOC) project is hosting an information session about the new Threat Feed pilot service. As part of the service, CanSSOC analysts will aggregate and curate essential Threat Intelligence data for members. Register here
