A new telephone service - Dial-a-Service - a local phone call brings you a recording of parts of last Sunday's worship, and more amazing resources for young families.
Dial-a-Service

For anyone, but especially for those without an internet connection, we have a new phone service ... Dial-a-Service. The phone number to call is:

01622 322767

You simply call and listen. It's a local number so you'll be charged at your usual rate. When you call you'll hear a greeting message and then you are asked to wait. It's quite a long pause until the system finds the recording, so don't give up.

The current recording is of some of the content from last Sunday's service - welcome and opening prayers, reading, reflection, poem, intercessions and blessing. The recording lasts about 25 minutes. Let us know what you think!

There are a lot of people locally, without internet access. Please spread the word about this new service as widely as you can.

Family Corner
Messy Church will be held via Zoom on Friday 1st May at 4pm. The theme will be a 'fishy tale' so beforehand, please could the children create a picture, make a model or anything else related to a fish, that they can show. This will be a shorter session than usual because, sadly, we won't be eating together, but it will be lovely to get together. Thank you to Harry for suggesting this.
The link to the meeting is: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84532154819?pwd=bWtram5hSHVVMXh1bTV5NmJYVUpQZz09
Meeting ID: 845 3215 4819
Password: 670108

Zoom is generally easy to use, but if you're not sure contact Aline, 01622 716608, and she will do her best to help.

Together at Home. Fabulous resources that were created for churches, specifically for use during the Covid19 crisis, including the wonderful I can pray a rainbow. Here's the website and Facebook page.

The Church at Home from Diddy Disciples. Diddy Disciples offer amazing resources anyway for babies, toddlers and young children, and have come up trumps during this time with Build you own Worship Session and other ideas to keep worship alive in your young family.
Giving

We have a new giving page on the church website.

It is important to stress that at this difficult time we are certainly not asking for money from anyone who simply can't afford it.

Much of our income comes from weekly donations and collections in church, and as we cannot meet in church at the moment, we're not doing so well. So the page is there for anyone who normally contributes in that way and would appreciate an alternative way of doing so, and of course, for anyone else who would like to donate.

There's more information about church finances on the page and you'll see that you can give a one-off donation or set up regular giving.

Any contribution will be VERY gratefully received.
