- April 23, 2020: Thanks to everyone who took part in last month's Ealing Online Expo (click the image below to view the highlights video on YouTube)
In-person expo: Mon 28 & Tue 29 September 2020
11am to 5pm both days
Venue: DoubleTree by Hilton, Ealing, London W5 3HN

Moving on from our virtual expo success, let's look forward now to September

According to my diary, this email was supposed to be the last one for the Expo 2020 campaign, reminding attendees to finish their following up, and inviting everyone to stay on for Expo 2021.

But, thanks to coronavirus, lockdown and social distancing, we've ended up with several extra months to go until we get to make our face-to-face connections on 28 and 29 September.

Our Ealing Online Expo on the original Expo 2020 dates, 23-24 March, was an interesting and innovative success, so thank you for joining in if you did; and if you didn't, have a look at the video to get an idea of what it was like: https://youtu.be/_ISzXbl5C3k

Ealing Online Expo: Overview

The event was not meant as a replacement for Expo 2020, but as a way to keep the Expo community connected, help it to grow a bit, and to offer a space where exhibitors, speakers and sponsors could promote their products and services in the pre-buildup to the rescheduled in-person event in September.

Organised and promoted in the space of a week, the Cybrexpo was spread out for 12 hours over two days across six separate social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Zoom and in our private community hub on Ugenie), so that businesses could join in on their preferred platforms and at times that suited them. We had about 100 direct interactions while the event was 'live', and an event reach since then of over 1,500 views and impressions.

Special thanks to Expo sponsors, Ealing Council and A2Dominion Group.

One of the beauties of the Ealing Online Expo ("Ealing Cybrexpo") is that there are parts that anyone can still join in, even now, weeks after the live event has ended.

Thinking ahead to the in-person event in September and wondering how you can use the Ealing Business Expo to promote your business? Not only is the event a great way to boost your visibility and credibility in the Ealing and West London business community, but your investment is what keeps the event free to attend for everyone, and helps to cover the costs of staging the Expo:

• become a support-sponsor for £200 (lots of promo but no stand to worry about)
• exhibition stands still available, starting from £250
• advertising space in the Expo Guide, at £100 per half page

You don't have to wait until September to get involved – reply to this email now to get further details.

In the meantime, please continue to follow the official guidelines for keeping safe and healthy during this time. We'll meet again.
