Your health and wellbeing has always been our priority, and it's never been more so than now, in these most challenging of times. It's why we're working round the clock to bring you our new Fillet & Bone online food shop. Click and collect your fabulous Cotswolds food and drink at our door - or we'll deliver it to you swiftly and safely.

Teamwork makes the dream work

Nothing will stop Fillet & Bone delivering exceptional Cotswolds food and drink - it's why we've been working hard during the Coronavirus crisis, setting up new ways of working so we can keep your larders stocked.
Since we launched our new online food shop a week ago, we've been inundated with shoppers using the service. And we couldn't be more delighted.
You can choose one of two options. Click-and-collect is for those able to get to us at the shop - we're always happy to exchange news and see friendly faces, all at a safe distance of course.
And for those who can't venture out, our rapid doorstep delivery service is free to customers within five miles of Chipping Campden spending more than £10. Charges apply from a five-15 mile radius*.
We're able to take orders by phone, email or via our website - whatever works for you.
Our supply chain is holding up well, and our counters are always stocked with artisan cheeses, responsibly-farmed meat, fresh Cornish fish and a host of delicious deli goods as well as store cupboard items and wines, beers and spirits.

* Delivery within 5 miles of Fillet & Bone, FREE; 5-10 miles, £5; 10-15 miles, £10. All distances calculated using Google Maps.

Say hello to Shannon

We've recently welcomed a new member of the team to the Fillet & Bone family. Shannon first came to help us on Saturdays. But since our new online food shop launched, she's been here as much as possible, helping Pat and Julia put together your orders. Tom is in the office collating orders, liaising with suppliers, ensuring we've got everything our customers ask for - or suggesting suitable alternatives - and making sure our online shop is working well. And while Chris is out doing the deliveries, Esme is ensuring everything is running smoothly and our suppliers are keeping up with demand.

Asparagus season

If there's one thing guaranteed to cheer up mealtimes in these unprecedented times, it's the arrival of the first Evesham asparagus. We look forward to it with eager anticipation in the shop. More than anything, it signals the arrival of spring and better days to come. Try it griddled on the barbecue with a squeeze of lemon or some homemade wild garlic butter foraged from your local woodland. It's cracking paired with our rib-eye steak.

Box of delights

While we're having to socially isolate from loved ones, there are still ways to show you care - and what better way than to send your favourite people one of our gorgeous hampers?
Packed with fabulous Cotswolds food and drink, they're the perfect pick-me up for your favourite foodie, the best friend you haven't seen for ages or mum and dad stuck at home during lockdown.
There's a huge selection on our dedicated hampers website www.cotswoldfoodhampers.co.uk. How about a hamper for truffle-hunters or Champagne-lovers? And if the home-schooling's getting a bit much, send our gin hamper. It's bound to lift the spirits. Here's one we packed earlier for one of our lovely customers. Click-and-collect, or we'll post nationwide.

In season now

Spring lamb, watercress, rhubarb, spinach and purple sprouting are all at their best this month - along with Vale of Evesham asparagus. With all these fresh flavours, it's a fabulous time to be in the kitchen. Try this recipe for spring greens fritteda - a deliciously light Italian stew made with that other staple of the season, juicy prawns.

Walk on the wild side

Ransoms - or wild garlic - is a forager's delight and is still in abundance in woodlands right across the Cotswolds. The young leaves make incredible pesto - perfect for stirring into pasta or serving with one of our free-range Adlington Ltd chickens.
