Dear Friends,

A statement. During Coffee and Conversation last week the question was "What is God doing in all this? Is this God's plan?" Two very thought provoking questions and a great conversation followed with the group. One member said, "I think God is making a statement." After a lengthy discussion I boiled it down to this "We have been abundantly blessed, however, we have overextended our blessings to the point of forgetting that God has the plan and God is in charge."

The question becomes how do we realign ourselves with God as we move forward. That is where the statement comes in. Each of us has a responsibility to use the gifts we have been given for building God's Kingdom on earth. What is your statement TODAY to work toward God's Kingdom on earth?

Here are a few things to remember: your statement needs to come from where YOU are at this moment in time. If that means you need to get your self in order, with God's help, before you can help others...get to it.

Your statement needs to reflect God's commandments. You need to figure out how you enhance God's plan and that may be painful and will mean sacrifice.

Your statement may be new every day (mine may be new several times a day). That is okay.

STATE OF THE CHURCH MEETING. We are definitely in a state :). Pastor Sandi will be holding an update on the state of the church on Saturday, April 25th at 10:00am via Zoom. We will also be conducting official church business as we are going to be voting on changes to the Pastor Salary package. Zoom invitations will be sent out on Friday, April 24th. Please join us!

PARENTS! This is a time for you!. Please join Pastor Sandi and Chris Wyant on Tuesday, April 28 at 9:00pm. Join us for some fun conversation, a deep breath and time of peace. We know these days are hard and exciting. I will be sending you an invitation via your email Tuesday morning.

Kiddos in fourth grade and younger!!! Jesus loves you! Grab some chalk and draw messages reminding us of Jesus' love, Send them to Pastor Sandi and I will post them next week in our newsletter (pastor@bluffpointumc.com).

Monday mornings - 11:30-12:15 - This is for kiddos fourth grade and younger. We laugh, read a book, play games and learn about our faith.

Tuesday mornings at 8:00am - Coffee and Conversation

Tuesday afternoon at 4:00pm - Join Anna and Noah Detar to learn, laugh and explore your faith! This is for kiddos fifth grade and older.

Tuesday evening at 9:00pm - Parents Pajama Party

Thursday - Studying Epic of Eden - Old Testament - 10:00am-11:30

Thursday - Study of Isaiah - 4:30-6:00

My prayer for each of you

Heavenly Father, please grant me peace of mind
and calm my troubled heart. My soul is like
a turbulent sea. I can’t seem to find my balance
so I stumble and worry constantly. Give me the
strength and clarity of mind to find my purpose
and walk the path you’ve laid out for me. I trust
your Love God, and know that you will heal this stress.
Just as the sun rises each day against the dark of
night. Please bring me clarity with the light of God.
