Mitigate interruptions in routine TB services during the COVID-19 pandemic and
Lay the groundwork to revolutionize the TB care models to become more virtual, digitalized, and people-centered.
Global Fund Board doubles funds available for COVID-19-related response to $1 billion
On April 9, the Board of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria unanimously approved two temporary, extraordinary measures to enable flexibilities within current Global Fund grants in order to ensure continuity of programs, and to provide additional direct support to countries for their responses to COVID-19. Webinar on HIV-specific session: supporting countries for Global Fund applications - Window 2, Thursday, 23 April, 3pm CET, English

We are delighted to invite you to the HIV-specific session: supporting countries for Global Fund applications – Window 2, the next installment in the series of webinars to support countries to submit technical sound Global Fund applications on Thursday, 23 April at 10am (French) and 3pm (English) CET. The webinar is co-organized by WHO, Stop TB Partnership and UNAIDS Secretariat.
The specific webinar is the second in the series of three being organized by the Joint Programme to provide opportunity for countries to improve the quality of their GF applications, increasing the chances for a smooth, efficient and successful application process, anticipating the most common challenges and Technical Review Panel (TRP) comments, and ensure a virtual dialogue in spite of the current Covid-19 challenges.

The webinars are open to all stakeholders working on Window 2 GF applications. We kindly request UNAIDS Country Directors and WHO teams to actively approach members of the writing teams and key partners to ensure that everyone who are working on the GF applications join this webinar.
