 Today is a great day to stop and thank God for the wonderful world we live in. Talk as a family about what you can do to help take care of God's creations. Make a plan as a family to better take care of the earth with the 3 Rs- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! Rate how well your family is doing with conserving water and electricity. Rather than trashing usable items, fill a box with items to donate to an area thrift shop or CCAP (when they open back up)! Do some gardening or flower/tree planting together as a family-- you'll be able to continually enjoy how God makes the plants and trees grow right in your yard!
God has blessed us with a beautiful world to live in. May we all work toward taking better care of our planet on Earth Day and every day!

| Friends, we miss seeing you! We encourage you to send your messages of hope to your friends at First Presbyterian. All you have to do is write your favorite encouraging Bible verse on a sheet of paper and take a picture like this of you holding verses or messages of hope and encouragement. | During Eastertide and Pentecost, we celebrate that the Risen Lord is always with us and the coming of the Holy Spirit. One of the things the Holy Spirit does for us and helps us do for others is encourage hope. Let's fill our campus with messages of hope during this time of COVID-19. All are encouraged to bring their own sidewalk chalk to church and write messages of hope and/or draw your image of the Holy Spirit. Please practice safe social distancing while on campus. Please draw in the alleyway or as close to the church building as you can. After finishing your creations, please take a picture and send to andrea@fpcwinc.org.
