Donate now to support young people and adults with learning disabilities and autism

Hello from PiP!

We hope all our supporters are staying safe and well.  At the end of March, we had to make the difficult decision to close our PiP centres for the safety of students and staff.  Our priority is to continue to support and empower our students.  With that in mind, we quickly set up online sessions and are having a blast engaging our 60 students in a busy online timetable.

Music and singing lessons have been a huge success as well as the chance for students to blow off steam after being isolated at home without their friends and fellow students. Our Be Heard Group, Women’s Group and Men’s Group are allowing students time for reflection and to discuss their feelings with a peer group; not something they can always easily access at home.  Supporting young people and adults with learning disabilities and autism with their health, wellbeing and self-esteem is even more crucial than ever.

HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT PiP AT THIS TIME

We're putting a PiP spin on the  London Marathon's national #TwoPointSixChallenge by challenging our students across lots of different subjects over the next two weeks.  We're opening up sessions to guests so you can get involved too and support our students to reach their goals.

More details and registration to participate in fitness, dance, makaton, art, drama or a jam with the PiP band are available here.

We’d love everyone to get involved with supporting us in a way that feels right for them. Whether you’d like to take on a personal fundraising challenge like our supporter Jan who is completing the Local Landmarks Challenge all the way over in Germany for us, joining in with our students and their #TwoPointSixChallenge, or sharing our social media content and helping us reach a wider audience, we appreciate all your support.

Any amount you can raise, big or small, provides never more needed funds to help us continue to provide our services for vulnerable young people and adults.
