It’s hard. It’s hard to be in community and not see each other.
My teenager seems to have mastered the skill
well before the necessity of social distancing.
We are all learning new ways to communicate,
and remain in touch with one another.
I am a fortunate one;
I am not homeless, detained, or in an unsafe household.
I have older kids who have transitioned easily to high school & college online.
Online for me is nice, but not the same.
I try and focus on getting outside and noticing the changes taking place.
The strawberry plants and rhubarb (which I will finally pick this year)
The kale that never quit this winter.
A few self-seeded sunflower seeds.
Potential.
I've been listening to a song a lot during this time and I want to share it with you; click here.
Take care, everyone -
Jenn
