Keep Campgrounds Closed, Some Towns Tell Governor

In addition to Raymond and surrounding Towns petitioning Governor Sununu to close NH State Parks to camping due to concerns over an influx of visitors during this "Stay at Home" period, A number of other communities are also expressing their concerns.

How to take “The Pledge to Save A Life:” Simply post the pledge on as many social media sites as you can and say “I (your name” Pledge to Save a Life” and if you are a business say “We (name of your business) Pledge to Save a Life.”  After you have made your pledge challenge three other people or businesses.
  1. I pledge to save a life by staying home to the best of my ability
  2. I pledge to save a life by following social distancing guidance
  3. I pledge to save a life by following personal hygiene guidance
  4. I pledge to save a life by self-quarantining if I may be exposed or sick
  5. I pledge to save a life by not hording food and critical supplies
  6. I pledge to save a life by keeping my community positively focused on combating this disease
  7. I pledge to save a life by using a glove or a plastic bag to cover my hands while pumping gas
  8. I pledge to save a life by checking in on elderly and people in need
  9. I pledge to save a life by supporting those business that have taken the pledge
  10. I pledge to save a life by being the solution and not the problem

From the Department of Public Works:

Town Recreational Fields: Last week all Town Owned Recreational Fields (Cammett Fields, Middle School Fields and Rte 107 Fields) were posted as CLOSED until further notice.

Conservation Areas: Riverside Park, Cassier Forest, Dearborn Forest and Robinson Hill Parking Areas have been posted limiting access to no more than 3 vehicles in the parking lot at any one time.

Beaches: Beaches have been posted as CLOSED until further notice (Governors Lake and Elementary School).

Playgrounds: Playgrounds operated by the School District have been posted as CLOSED until further notice.

All of which is consistent with the guidance to reduce the congregation of individuals and promote the goal of Staying At Home to prevent the spread of COVID 19.
