Ongoing Weekly Online Sessions

with Dharma Teacher Rachel Parrish
Every Sunday, 10:30am-11:30am Central Daylight Time

Our online sessions with Dharma Teacher Rachel Parrish have been enormously popular, and we will be continuing to offer them each Sunday.

Each session begins promptly at 10:30am, with a brief orientation, reciting the refuge & bodhicitta prayers, and 15 minutes of shiné meditation, followed by a teaching and discussion on the classic text A Letter to a Friend, by Nagarjuna.

These sessions are relaxed, informal, and there is plenty of time for Q&A.

Join online at this zoom link
(contact chicago@bodhipath.org with any questions)

About the text:
Each talk will focus on a verse or two from the classic text by Nagarjuna, A Letter to a Friend, which provides a concise presentation of the Buddhist path. Written by the great Indian master Nagarjuna (c. 150–250 CE), this is one of the best known and most widely studied texts in Buddhism. Pithy and concise, these verses are full of practical advice on how to engage in the Buddhist path.

Suggested donations:
  • Standard: $10 per session
  • Sponsor: $20 per session
  • A voluntary teacher offering may be given separately
No one turned away for lack of funds.
