Hello Crossfire Select Families,

We hope you’re staying healthy and safe during these challenging months. We understand the disappointment that many families may have felt with the soccer season cut abruptly short. Crossfire Select aims to bring our community back together through soccer.

As you take care of your family during these times, we hope to avoid causing any additional and unnecessary stress by making it easier for players to pick up where they left off when we can get back on the field.

We are revising our usual tryouts process

This year we are implementing an alternative player placement program. Players who were registered in Crossfire Select for the 2019-20 season will be welcomed back to the club, providing we have a viable team for them, so families can circumvent the sometimes-stressful tryouts process.

How will players be placed on a team next season?

We've waived all tryouts registration fees for U11-U19, but you must be registered by April 30th in order to be placed on a team.

How will current players be placed on a team?

Coaches, the coaching director and board will organize players on teams based on their team last year. There may be some movement up and down based on last year’s player performance, but minimal. Initial placement rosters will be decided around May 1st and players will be notified.

What if I am a new player to Crossfire Select?

New players can also register for tryouts and will be tentatively placed on rosters after May 5th once we have placed current players. We will communicate a plan for U10 (2011) players separately.

When should players accept their spot?

Selected players must register by June 1st and pay $212.50, which will be the first installment of four. Further installments will be due July 25th, August 25th, and September 25th to equal the total club fees of $850.

However, to alleviate any financial burden, no further payments will be required until we have resumed training/playing. For example, if we begin training on August 15th, your second payment will be August 25th. There will be $100 deduction from total club fees for any full month that we don’t train, and payment amounts will be spread equally over the remaining balance and end on schedule. You will only pay for the time we train and play.
