Dear TBF Family,

I hope and pray that each of you and your families have been safe and well during this unprecedented coronavirus pandemic which has adversely affected every facet of our daily lives.

The Texas Bach Festival Staff and Board of Directors have been constantly monitoring the situation and following the recommendations and requirements of public health officials, as well as of state and local authorities. Safeguarding the health of our performers and community remains TBF's top priority. As a result, after careful consideration, we will regrettably be postponing our 2020 Bach 4 More Festival until June 21-28, 2021.

However, TBF continues to look to the future, and so our attention is refocused on 2021. We will bring back the central focus of the 2020 Bach 4 More Festival program, featuring the TBF Choir’s performances of the Rachmaninoff All-Night Vigil (Vespers) in both Georgetown and Austin, along with organist David Polley’s “Bach & Friends” performance at Grace Episcopal, Georgetown and the TBF Camerata and mixed chamber music performances at Wellspring UMC, Georgetown. We are also arranging rescheduled performances for the Georgetown Public Library, Chamber of Commerce, and the “Taste of Bach” fundraiser brunch at the Georgetown Sheraton Hotel. Our ongoing commitment is to bringing the great pleasure of transformative live performances of masterwork repertoire—“Bringing Bach Alive”—to music lovers throughout Central Texas. Rest assured, the Texas Bach Festival is alive and well, and looks forward with relish to a healthy and exciting 2021.

With warmest regards,

Barry Scott Williamson
