COVID-19 Update

April 19, 2020

Our church was going through a series called “DETOURS” when we began to see things rapidly change throughout the world. A sudden change of direction is certainly what we are experiencing now. Navigating through this time is indeed a challenge.

Last week our team made the decision to move forward and begin to schedule our summer riding classes. We are hoping that by June small groups will be able to gather, giving us the go-ahead to begin therapeutic riding. Please keep in mind that we will honor governing officials in any mandates set for PA. but in order for us to proceed with classes we need to be prepared in advance.

If you were signed up for the Spring session you will be receiving a phone call inviting you to return for the Summer session. This includes volunteer staff as well as riders. If you would like to be added as a volunteer this summer please contact Brandy at 717-451-9509 or email sstrmail@gmail.com

Another way to stay updated with what’s happening at Shining Stars is to visit our fb page. We post daily and have added a facebook-live program on Wednesdays and Fridays at 2pm. It’s a fun way to see what life is like at the farm, ask questions, and to learn fun facts about our horses! Please “like” us and share to your friends!
