Happy Last Week of Classes, Family!

What a unique semester! It's very weird to think it is almost done. We are praying for you all.

What a fitting season to be in. I'm not sure about you, but I am thankful for the daily reminder that our Lord is Risen and death has been defeated. Praise. The. Lord.

We have important Exec Election information in this email, so PLEASE READ!

Today is Monday... You know what that means! We've got the online Holden Evening Prayer service TONIGHT!! Be there or be square at 5:45 pm EST! We have attached the Leader Guide here so you can follow along with the service while at home! In order to join the meeting on Zoom, here is the link you'll need to follow! We can't wait to see you!

Don't forget that our Friday lunches are continuous! Any Friday that you want to come and hang out for lunch-just follow this Webex Link and if you are asked for a password, it is fridaylunch. We will be meeting 12:30-1:30 EST.

(In case your links don't work to take you to the Holden meeting, copy this and past it in the search bar! It should take you right to where you can join the meeting.)

Please know that we are missing your presence and we are praying for you.

I can only be SO funny. Nobody sent a meme or joke in, so I'm gonna let this one sit with us a little longer...

Recipe Time with Hayley!

I hope you all enjoyed your Buffalo Wild Wings last week! I truly thought I was hilarious attaching the link to their menu...I like to think that maybe Jesus has humor while reading these emails too. (You know, because Jesus reads emails on his free time.)

Chicken Nuggets & Tater Tots

What you will need:

Tater tots (preferably Ore-Ida mini tots)
Nugs (for us gluten free folks out there, I prefer the brand Ians)
A pan & 15 precious minutes

Steps:

  • Open up your tots & nugs
  • Decide how many you are going to have of each. I try to get around 6-8 nugs and half a pan of tots but I also think I might have a problem so portion at your own discretion.
  • Set your oven to 400 or 415 & let it heat on up
  • Put your tots & nugs in the oven for about 13-15 minutes. Cook to your desired crispy-ness.
  • Maybe crack open a cold one (Diet Coke) to have with your buds over Zoom or Webex
  • Call me about your experience so we can chat it up
(This recipe was not sponsored by Ore-Ida or Ian's but it might as well have been. I give them enough of my business it's about time they return the favor. For real, though. If you have a joke or a recipe, we have another week of emails and I literally don't know how to cook anything else so PLEASE send jokes or recipes!)

So send your tips & tricks to staying sane during this time of social distancing (and jokes and recipes!) to me at hayley.moe@ptsem.edu or reply to this email!
