A bunch of tales I wanted to share with you

A tale I read

Poet by Adrian Mitchell

A tale I heard

Comedian, writer, actor Greg Davies on his favourite game growing up:

"I would spend a lot of time setting up an accident scene where it appeared that I had seriously hurt myself – hedge-cutter, ketchup, that sort of thing. When my sister happened upon the scene of horror I would lift my head and pathetically plead for her to 'get mum'. No matter what she might tell you today, my sister fell for this 100 percent of the time."

A tale I saw

A tale I wrote

Jeremy ran out
of envelopes and stamps
and pens and paper,
so wandered the streets
whispering love letters
through the letterboxes
of strangers.
The tiny poodle
at number 69
gave his nose
a welcome lick.
