Below you'll find the updates to Executive Orders put in place by Governor Ron DeSantis additional community news related to COVID-19.

NEW

  • Governor Ron DeSantis has adapted the application process for unemployment in the state to remove the mandatory clause for applicants to be "actively seeking work".  See the Executive Order HERE.
  • Pinellas County Extends Local State of Emergency.  See official press release HERE.
 

Virtual Q and A Opportunities:

Each week Mayor Al Johnson will continue to update the community through our city Facebook page.  Please send any questions or concerns you would like him to address during these community updates here.



Robin Miller, the President and CEO of the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce, joined us last week and will continue to provide weekly updates for the business community.  Please submit any questions or comments you'd like to be addressed during her weekly video update here.



Open for Business on St. Pete Beach:

The City of St. Pete Beach has created a page on our website dedicated to businesses that are open during this time.  To start we have a list of restaurants that are offering delivery or curbside service.  If you are a business owner and would like to update your business information you will find that option on the page.  


CITY HALL CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC:

City Hall is closed to the public and much of the staff is working remotely in order to be in compliance with the State Executive Order.
