Native Edge Institutes Announces a Virtual NEI on April 24

Event will focus on 'Best Accounting Practices and Workforce Development Training' during a pandemic 

MESA, AZ – The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development will host a virtual Native Edge Institute on Friday, April 24, 2020. This virtual NEI will focus on the current COVID-19 pandemic and feature presentations on 'Best Accounting Practices and Workforce Development Training During a Pandemic.' The first session on accounting practices will include financial analysis and planning during COVID-19, as well as designing systems and compliance for disaster funds and audit consideration. The second session will focus on emergency sick and family leave, reconciling that leave with the Paycheck Protection Program, workplace safety and privacy, and managing essential employees.

NEIs are training events that provide both established and aspiring business owners critical business training. While they typically take place at in-person events, the National Center is committed to ensuring that attendees of this virtual NEI receive the same level of quality information they would in-person.
