Greater Boston Chapter Trout Unlimited

Dear GBTU Members,

We are all going through a challenging time and hope you are well.  I have two requests: stay safe and think about supporting our frequent donors.

1) To keep your sanity, get out and enjoy nature but follow CDC and local guidance - stay home (local), keep your distance, and stay safe. If you can't get out, tie flies.

Mass Wildlife has kept most parks open.  Additionally, word has it they have been directed to complete 12-week of stocking in 4 weeks.

2) Many of our supporters and prior donors are going through challenging times. Please consider supporting them in any way you are able. They are offering a bit of relief from this situation. Order online, make a storefront pick up, buy gift cards, book summer camp reservations, hire a guide, call the shop for advice … let them know you care.  Here is a listing of the prior years’ donors for our great GBTU events.

Evening Sun - Charlie Shadan: Charlie offers a  broad scope (55 years) of geographic fishing knowledge to everyone who would like to learn.  He can offer some guidance on where to go for some really good quality time in the woods away from THE MEDIA. Please feel free to call or e-mail the shop about places to go to look for fish. Remember, it's not about the fish; it’s all about the therapy of a day away.
