April Prayer Guide
 
We regularly provide a calendar-based prayer guide for congregants to use as they pray privately. But given these unprecedented times and the likelihood that we will not be able to worship together throughout the month of April, our prayers will be more focused and topical than usual. Please find the April 2020 Prayer Calendar.
During this time of social distancing and remote worship, if you have questions, contact your elder. If you have needs, contact your deacons. 

More Opportunities to Feed Oviedo Families

We have more opportunities to help meet our community's food insecurity needs by replenishing the food pantry at Walker Elementary School in Chuluota. We are asking you to continue to donate non-perishable foods. Drop offs can be made at the church on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-12 noon for the foreseeable future. If you need to drop off outside of these times, please reach out to us via text at 210-831-4845 and/or 407-402-7670 to make arrangements.

Walker is making an effort to put together meal bags that include all of the non-perishable ingredients a family would need to make a meal. Among the items most needed:
  • Grocery gift cards ($10 or $20).
  • Box of spaghetti + spaghetti sauce.
  • Rice and Beans.
  • Canned vegetables.
  • Hamburger Helper and other boxed dinners.
  • Jambalaya.
  • Peanut Butter.
  • Jelly.
  • Macaroni & Cheese.
  • Canned Meat.
  • Cereal.
  • Non-refrigerated milk.
  • Taco shells or tortillas.
  • Chips & salsa.
  • Pancake mix and syrup.
  • Individually wrapped snacks.
  • Think outside the box!

Calling All Graduates!

If you or your child or spouse will be graduating from any institution or program this Spring, Summer, or Fall, please reach out to Sara Jane Resh to let her know about it by April 30. We like to honor our graduates and are making plans to do so as soon as we're able to meet together again.
