MAY 2020 UPDATE

A Message from Ann Lindsay

Hello!

As the weeks of home isolation drag on, I find myself even more thankful that I live in Humboldt County and am inspired to continue work on establishing a senior life plan community here. 
 

At the Life Care Humboldt website we now have a LCH Board page where you can see pictures and short biographies of the newly-formed Board of Directors and read statements about why they are working on Life Care Humboldt.  

I am President, Pat Girczyc is Vice President, JoAnn Schuch is Treasurer, Marc Chaton is Treasurer.  Other board members are Patty Berg, Maggie Banducci, Greg Orsini and George Williamson. We have a talented and committed Board!
 
Social isolation due to COVID-19 has foiled our plans for in-person events but we are considering testing a “virtual house party” on Zoom. 

The host/hostess will invite friends to learn about Life Care Humboldt and give feedback about what amenities and design features they prefer. 

Life Care Humboldt will provide a facilitator to run the discussion and answer questions as they arise.  We will start testing this concept soon.  Many of you signed up at OLLI to host house parties, but if others would like to volunteer send an e-mail to lch@lifecarehumboldt.org.
 
So far, three hundred and forty-one people have signed up for email updates on Life Care Humboldt!
