Hey friends,
If you have followed the blog, the newsletter or my social medias for any length of time, you know how much I love writing, creating content and sharing what I discover. I value leaving footprints because it helps me on more than just one level.
It helps me reflect on what I learn
Beside school and formal education, every week I do a decent amount of reading (from audiobooks, articles, books, docs) but sometimes reading or being introduced to a new piece of information is not enough. Writing, and trying to express the ideas in easy words for you (or myself in the future) to understand helps me reflect and grasp the idea.
Building a community
Blogging (and tweeting 🐦) is a lot like shouting into the void, hoping that your words will resonate somewhere and that people will relate. By writing and being transparent about your mistakes, your failures and your success, you help other people going through the same path. So the more you make noise and leave footprints the more you contribute.
So whether it's through a blog, a YouTube channel, or even a journal for yourself, I would suggest you to start leaving footprints of your achivements, what you do, what you learn, where you fail and where you succeed.
I talk about the subject further in this week's post: The joy of leaving footprints and I'd love to know your thoughts on the subject
