Tiny Tea Dispatch

ISSUE 015

April was a 428 days long experiment in stagnation.
I had to check my notebooks to see what I actually did that month.

~~ Ink well ~~

These are some pictures of the pens I bought back in March. It's a Parker Duofold (the black pen) and another Pelikan, but this time with an extra fine nib. As always, I do a little writing sample and draw Captain Haddock to get a feel for the nib and ink lines.
Also pictured: the Bayard pen I mentioned the month before. Look at how beautiful that one is, with that iridescence in the marble pattern.

~~ Garden ~~

While repotting some of the pepper plants, I must have touch something I was allergic to, because early last week, I got a very itchy rash all over my hands, arms and neck. Fun times.

~~ Writing ~~

~~ Making ~~

I actually did do a reasonable amount of drawing this month.
For starters, made a status page, that way I can keep track of how loud the dog is or how many headaches I get or how much pizza I consume. There is no causal link between any of these.
It's a simple PHP page that uses ink-drawn icons for the various topics and gets its data from a Google sheet (basically, an online excel document).
If you have any suggestions for more topics, let me know.
I also made a couple of drawings for an Instagram challenge that was doing the rounds. This one is probably my favorite from the bunch.
There was also a commission (that could've been from March, I'm not sure anymore) and most recently a secret present.

~~ Playing ~~

I started out playing SteamWorld Heist, a turn-based game involving Steampunk robots pirating spaceships and turned to Minecraft a couple of days ago. It's quiet and calming. Especially if you play it while listening to Peter playing minecraft

~~ Notes ~~

We're still doing okay at home, minus some annoyance from the neighbours during work hours. I'll keep working from home in May, with some vacation days thrown in there.
Hope you are all keeping safe as well, as much as is possible anyway. I'm going back to playing some minecraft.
