On a mobile device use the three-dot menu in the upper right corner of the video.  The subtitles are produced by YouTube using a voice recognition which may not always be perfect!

What you need – Each household will need a laptop or similar device that can join in with a video call via Teams (you don’t need to download an app, it will work from your web browser) and each person joining in will need a smart phone or tablet able to link to the internet to submit your answers.

Virtual Men's Breakfast Saturday 2 May at 8.15am
Join other local men for a virtual gathering.  Bring your own breakfast!  Joe Warton will speak on 'Making the most of opportunities for Christ in lockdown'.  Contact office@godmanchesterbaptist.org for meeting ID and password.

In memory of Cheryl Slatter
Cheryl's funeral service, for close family only, will be held at Cambridge Crematorium on Tuesday 5 May at 11.30am.  If you are out and about in Godmanchester for your daily exercise, you may see the hearse as it drives through Godmanchester, between the Black Bull and the White Hart, at about 10.40am.
These are difficult times when we are unable to gather together to remember loved ones in the ways we would normally be able to.  If you are able, please do take a moment at 11.30am on Tuesday to remember Cheryl - either on your own or by sharing memories with others in your home, and to pray for Lee and James and the wider family.
There will also be an opportunity to gather (virtually - using Zoom) at 8.00pm on Wednesday evening, 6 May, to remember Cheryl together.  Daniel will lead a time of reflection with scripture readings and prayers.  There will also be an opportunity for you to light a candle if you would like to.  To join in with this, you need to e-mail us on office@godmanchesterbaptist.org and we will then send you, next Wednesday, an ID number and password so you can access the Zoom gathering.
When we are able, at a suitable time in the future, we will hold a Thanksgiving service for Cheryl at GBC.

Fun Photos during Lockdown
Thanks for the photos you've been sending in.  Please send us any more photos you have of yourself and/or your family having fun during lockdown - entries close on 3 May (this Sunday!)  We'll then put a selection together to show at the end of a Sunday broadcast.  It's so good to 'see' each other's lovely faces during this challenging time!
Please send them to office@godmanchesterbaptist.org.
Thank you!
The Town Council have produced a helpful letter bringing together lots of information about how to access emergency help at the moment.  It may be a useful resource if you are in need yourself or are helping others.
A new resource for those who would like to listen to a daily devotional, introduced by Justin Welby. Listen to the hymn for the day and then some thoughts and prayers linked to it - for about 15-20 minutes.  Phone the free phone number above.
Derek and Lynne Hancock are wondering whether anyone may have a treadmill they could borrow while they are confined to home and unable to go out for exercise.  If so, please contact them on 01480 534906.
