LCA's National Honor Society is hosting a blood drive at the Kentucky Blood Center from April 27 - May 6. You must make an appointment and inform them you are with LCA. Parents and friends of LCA can give blood as well and LCA will get the credit! Our goal is 30 units of blood. They are in DESPERATE need of blood. This is a VERY SAFE way to help in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis. Click HERE for the flyer with more details.
If you can't tune in that morning, don't worry, the link will remain on the page for you to view when it's convenient for you.
Applications are now being accepted for the PTF Steering Committee. The purpose of the PTF is to provide all LCA parents (preschool-12th grade) with opportunities to connect with the school, and build relationships through service and involvement. If you are interested in serving, please fill out the PTF application here

Please check out the Virtual Admissions Office webpage or email admissions@lexingtonchristian.org for more info and to schedule a time to talk.
Today is the Last Day to Nominate an Outstanding Teacher!
LCA has established the Ruth Coppler Outstanding Teacher Award, to be given annually to an LCA teacher in memory of Mrs. Ruth Coppler, who was a beloved elementary teacher at our school. This award is established as a tribute to her love for teaching and to recognize teachers who share and exemplify that love. For more info and to nominate a teacher, click HERE. The deadline to submit a nomination is today, April 30.

Just a reminder that the COVID-19 Information webpage features all communication from Mark Sisk, Head of School, virtual instruction plan information, and FAQs. The page also includes links to state and national resources.
During this unprecedented time, we want to let the LCA family know they are not alone. By completing a simple form, a member of our team will pray for all those who submit prayer requests. Praises can also be sent as well. The LCA Cares webpage also features links to videos of our senior leadership team and teachers talking about virtual instruction and offering encouragement to others. In addition, there are links to virtual chapel services. View the page HERE.

Each year, LCA allocates a portion of its operating budget to tuition assistance. In addition, individuals or businesses have the ability to donate toward this fund in order for the school to serve more families – especially in times of crisis such as COVID-19.

Some of our families are finding themselves with financial struggles they never anticipated. Some are wondering how they can continue to keep their children enrolled at our school. By supporting the LCA Cares Financial Aid Fund, you can help us provide needs-based assistance to families who are experiencing unplanned hardships. Please visit the LCA Cares Financial Aid Fund webpage for more info and ways to donate.

Parents in Prayer is meeting each Tuesday at 8:30am between now and the end of the school year.
