FIRST SUNDAY FOOD DRIVE: Now through Sunday, May 3, we will be collecting donations for the Salvation Army's Food Pantry. You can drop off non-perishable foods in the tubs outside the Fellowship Hall kitchen door, or make a financial donation directly to the Salvation Army at this link.

VIRTUAL CHURCH: Due to restrictions on in-person gatherings, St. Paul's worship, study & fellowship will take place online until further notice. Get details on how to access virtual video programs, including worship, meditations, and Worship & Wonder here: www.stpauls.net/virtual. More details on each service follow.

GIVE ONLINE: While we are not meeting in person, we invite you to keep giving to St. Paul's so that we can continue to do the work of the church in these uncertain times. Your generosity equips the church to care for the most vulnerable in our communities, while continuing to pay the salaries of our staff. Online giving is easy; click here to begin.

NEW SERMON SERIES - "NOW WHAT?": Jesus is risen...now what? After the death and resurrection of Jesus, his disciples had to figure out how to carry on with the teachings and ministry with which they had been entrusted. Everything had changed, and there was no road map for what they were now called to do. During this post-Easter season, as we adapt to the altered circumstances in which we find ourselves, how is Jesus calling us to respond? In the coming weeks, we will seek wisdom on how to engage our faith, our relationships, our work and our community in a changed world.

ZOOM LINKS: Due to security/privacy concerns, we will be sharing all Zoom Meeting ID's in our midweek email rather than on the website. Feel free to invite and share these meeting IDs with friends or neighbors, but do not post them publicly. If you want to call in by phone, dial this number and use the Meeting ID/Password listed below: (929) 205-6099.
SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR ADULTS & FAMILIES: There are two opportunities for virtual Sunday School for adults and families! Adults of all ages are invited to join a Zoom Sunday School class Sundays at 10:00am (link above). We will be using a curriculum called The Present Word; click here to view the April participant's guide and the May participant's guide. Family Sunday School is also available from Sparkhouse, designed for children ages 2 - 11. This curriculum includes a video featuring music and stories, as well as downloadable activity sheets. Click here for more details!

HELEN WRIGHT CENTER BREAKFAST:  St. Paul's will deliver sack breakfasts to 15 women sheltering at the Helen Wright Center on Sunday, May 31. If you would like to contribute items for the breakfast bags, please contact Enid Tallmer.

ST. PAUL'S BOOK CLUB plans to meet via Zoom on Tuesday, May 19 to discuss Plainsong by Kent Haruf. Contact Amanda Sinodis with questions.

"ACTING ON FAITH" BOOK CLUB: Every Monday night at 8pm (through May 11), Chalice Press invites you to a virtual book club discussion on Acting on Faith: Stories of Courage, Activism & Hope Across Religions. Next Monday's topic is Chapter 5: Gender & Women's Leadership. Join the discussion each week here: https://zoom.us/j/719813557 (Meeting ID: 719 813 557).

COMPOST CONTRIBUTIONS: The compost bin at church continues to be picked up, though on a less frequent basis. Please feel free to keep dropping your home compost in the church bin outside the Fellowship Hall kitchen door. If you would like to make a contribution to the cost of compost pickup ($100/month), please write "Compost" in the notes of your check or online donation.

HELPING EACH OTHER: Financial assistance may be available to people in need through St. Paul's Minister's Contingency  Fund. Contact Diane or Amanda if you have a need or know someone who does. We also welcome contributions to this fund, which can be made to St. Paul's with "Minister's Contingency Fund" in the memo line.

YOUTH MISSION TRIP, JULY 5 - 10: All middle and high school youth are invited to join our 2020 Summer Mission Trip to Asheville, NC! We are excited to be partnering with FCC Wilmington to work alongside Asheville Youth Mission. We will serve with local non-profits who do a variety of work including organic farming, assisting folks experiencing homelessness, serving in food banks, helping with house repairs, and more.
