Good morning:

We certainly hope this newsletter finds you and yours well.

As some of you may know, the Provincetown Town Manager has formed a Recovery Coalition. The mission of this Coalition, composed of 18 people who are mostly from town government, is to gather ideas, suggestions, and information on how best to re-open Provincetown in a safe way.  Two things on this score:

1.  The Town Manager has agreed to "virtually" meet with this Association to discuss the Coalition, how it was formed, it’s mission, and the like. We are currently looking into a proper format for that meeting to take place soon.

2.  A member of the Coalition has reached out to this Association to gather ideas, opinions, thoughts from our members to help in the recovery process.  We thought that a quick survey may serve as a starting point.

To be sure, the Town (as is everyone) is very much in uncharted waters. Circumstances are rapidly changing and unfolding each day. Equally sure is that the Provincetown high season, the season the Town very much depends upon for its financial well-being, will look very different with physical distancing, masks, limited gatherings, and so on. This survey is intended to explore "what ifs" and should not be read in any way as "this is exactly what will transpire."  We are asking for a quick turnaround on this survey.  Please respond, if possible, no later than tomorrow, Thursday, April 30, end of the day.

Thank you and be safe.

Pat
