Weekly news for nonprofit news leaders and supporters

Support News for Good today during today’s #GivingTuesdayNow campaign

Today is #GivingTuesdayNow! INN is proud to recognize all of our 230+ publishing newsrooms who are participating, raising money to fund their essential public service journalism. Fund your local newsroom today! Our members are on the frontlines of the pandemic, playing an essential role in covering the COVID-19 crisis. And they’re not just providing information — they’re donating masks and meals to strengthen their communities.

Show your support for the essential work that nonprofit newsrooms are doing by donating and joining the conversation on Twitter using the #NewsforGood and #GivingNewsDay hashtags.

Thanks to the New York Times for supporting nonprofit, local newsrooms

Local news is an essential public good, especially for nonprofit outlets who produce mission-driven journalism. Last week, the New York Times launched an interactive database to highlight local news outlets across the country. We're thrilled to be part of this effort to support local nonprofit news!
