Update of Cochrane's Conflict of Interest policy
Cochrane is planning for the revised policy to come into effect on October 1, 2020. While implementation was originally planned for July, the Governing Board and Project Team has decided to delay policy launch until October. Before the policy comes into effect, there will be opportunities for Cochrane Review Group (CRG) editorial team members, authors and other Cochrane members to learn about the policy and how it may affect their Cochrane activities.
The review question looked at whether a transcatheter approach compared to open‐heart surgery for aortic valve replacement improved outcomes in people with severe aortic stenosis, concluding that there was little or no difference in the risk of death, stroke or heart attack in the short term.

We were delighted to find three of our reviews included in the Wiley Top Author campagin which has this year been extended to include Cochrane Library authors. The campaign celebrates the top 10% of each Cochrane Review Group’s most downloaded reviews, limited to the last two years.
