How Your Hometown Utility is Helping You Weather COVID-19

PWC continues to help customers weather financial impact of COVID-19. Beginning May 1, our electric rates have been reduced by 4.7%.  Since March 16, PWC has suspended cut-offs and late fees and will continue this at least through May 31. Bills for services used cannot be waived and payment plans will  prevent long-term accumulating account balances. Please call us at 910-483-1382 for assistance.

Helpful Options For Paying While You Are Staying Home

While our payment center is temporarily closed for walk-in service, there are still options available including our Online Account Manager and Mobile App, which provide current and historical billing and usage information. Hear all the options in our payment message below.

Thank You for Being So Essential

Thanks to all of our employees, first responders, and essential workers as we all continue to deal with the COVID-19 situation. This pandemic, reminds of the heroism in our community as well as the value for essential workers and volunteers. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, grocery clerks, food providers, sanitation workers, teachers, postal workers, utility workers and many others. These groups are working tirelessly to assure that people receive safe and reliable utility services, needed medical care, that food is stocked on shelves, that our residences remain clean, and that our children are educated even at a distance. Their efforts have enabled many of us to stay safely at home.

Use Water Sensibly and Save

Here in NC you can never quite predict when rain will be in forecast, making rain sensors a great option to save. Rain sensors prevent unnecessary watering by temporarily overriding your sprinkler controls when they detects rainfall. Take advantage of our Rain Sensor Incentive Program to earn up to a $50 bill credit and save on your monthly irrigation bill.
