In our previous Newsletter No 6, we provided information about the outcome of the March 2020 public consultation on our proposals. Since then we have made some further small changes to the layout in response to residents’ comments about the off-street parking proposals in Mill Road.  We have also now completed our work on the technical reports that support the proposals.  We submitted our planning application to Chichester District Council on 23 April 2020.  It may well take longer than normal for Chichester to register the application in the current working arrangements with Covid 19.  As soon as the application is registered you can view the details and all the supporting documents on the Council’s website by searching for planning applications in Mill Road, Westbourne.  We will also provide a link to the planning application direct from the Trust’s website at www.westbournecommunitytrust.org as soon as it is possible to do so.

All of these documents will be available online as part of our application and can be seen at the Council’s website mentioned above. You can also make any comments about our proposal direct to the Council either in writing or by using the online comments system.
 
We have consulted local residents and the wider village community at each stage of the preparation of our proposals and have responded to the many comments we have received and amended the design to take these comments into account.  We hope you like what we now propose and will support our planning application in the crucial next stage as it considered by the Council.
