SUMMER LESSONS

Summer is a great time to learn more music since there is no school or homework! Most of our students keep a routine going by taking regularly scheduled private lessons over the break, it keeps us moving and helps to maintain all the work accomplished during the year.
We are offering various lesson packages, please select the package that most fits your needs for this summer FOR EACH CHILD. We have 17 weeks of Summer! If your teacher is not teaching for as many weeks as you request, or if you will be out of town for a portion of the summer, you are welcome to make up those lessons by having 2 or 3 lessons in one week. Many choose to have two lessons per week for the whole summer. Please, talk with your private teacher before submitting any payment, and check how many weeks they are available.
All summer lessons must be paid for by Friday, June 5 in order to make the Centenary College payroll. We recommend that you schedule your lessons directly with your private teacher first and then use the online version payment form below.
This year, we are requesting online payments only.  Please, use the button below to pay and submit the Summer Lesson Form. You will need a credit card to process the online form. If you are unable to use the online payment form, please contact us.

VIDEO LESSONS:

Given the new challenge of teaching and learning by video, all our teachers are impressed with the progress of our students. We miss seeing you in person but we are glad we can still make beautiful music by distance! We are grateful that all our families understand this new challenge and are investing an immeasurable effort to keep the learning going.
We still do NOT recommend in-person lessons. Even though these lessons may have only three people in a room, we cannot guarantee that the entire room is clean and safe after each lesson. We are following the recommendations of authorities in order to protect everyone – all of our teachers, students, and families. Summer lessons will happen by video as long as we feel necessary.
It is possible that later in the summer when parents and teachers are in agreement, individual lessons could return to be in person. Every teacher will decide on a case-by-case basis, some may change earlier than others. We ask for your patience and understanding since every teacher and family has a different situation to consider.
Part of the Viola Book 2-3 Group Class doing the Ling Ling Workout challenge. We played a Twinkle Variation laying down on the floor. Other group classes have done this challenge too. Any hula-hoops pictures?

Do you know what's the Ling Ling Workout? Check out this video:
Can you play and do hula-hoops?

Returning Form

In these uncertain times, we understand that some families are unaware of what the next months will be and we are giving a more flexible deadline to receive your returning form. If you know you will not be returning, are moving, or are not able to fully commit to CSS next year for some reason, please let us know as soon as you can. We would like to know how many openings we have for next year, and yet we have many people applying to our waiting list, including quite a few siblings. We will not invite anyone on the waiting list to come to watch lessons until we know there is an opening for them.
