Yearbook
Mrs. Hare will again be creating our yearbook this year. They will go on sale for $12, and ready for pick up in June. Mrs. Hare is requesting any pictures that you'd like posted in this year's edition be sent directly to her at hareh@sjs.pvt.k12.ia.us by Friday, May 15. You can pay for your yearbook(s) when you pick them up.

COVID Creativity
These students combined their music lesson with their Mystery Doug time. After watching the videos about butterflies they went outside to look for some. Then they decided to lay out a blanket and listen to the music activity. Julia drew a swan and Grayson wanted to draw a frog. Remarkably, Grayson ran to the window well to see if there was a frog in it (they often find them in there) and there was one! So he drew it and then set it free.

Spring Fling
May 16 does not look very promising, however the Spring Fling committee is not giving up. They are currently coordinating a plan that would provide for social interaction, when permitted by the Governor. Details will be  forthcoming when the social restrictions are relaxed - hopefully in the near future. The Spring Fling committee has dedicated many hours of their time to make this a successful event, please join me in supporting them. 


Scrip 
Our scrip coordinator, Maggie McGarvey, has obtained McDonald's gift certificates. They are now available in $10 & $25 denominations. Scrip is still available at the parish office.
