The last 24 hours in North Carolina has been beyond crazy.  Good luck trying to figure out what it means...

DEFIANCE: The Board of Commissioners first announced at 10 AM that “Gaston County leadership supports the reopening of Gaston County...Staying home is not a solution...WBTV

--- COOPER RESPONSE: “This order’s only effect is to create confusion during a public health emergency, which is dangerous,"

--- POLICE RESPONSE: "The Gaston County Police Department will enforce Governor Roy Cooper's stay at home order.   A spokesperson for Gaston County tells me, "the county will not be putting our officers in conflict with the law – which includes Gov. Cooper’s executive order." WSOC

---REVISION: Gaston County offcials hours later, “Gov. Cooper’s staff has rightly pointed out today that in response to Gaston County’s new order, taking effect at 5 p.m. today, it acknowledges that the state order supersedes our own,” the statement reads.

LOST ITS WAY: One of the leaders of the ReOpen NC group said in a Facebook post that she’s left the movement.  Kristen Elizabeth wrote in a Facebook post Wednesday about how she thinks the movement has taken a turn that “we were not in agreement with” WECT

WILMINGTON: Wilmington Mayor Bill Saffo announced during a Wednesday morning news conference at city hall that he would be signing a new order that would retain six of the nine provisions in the current order...WECT
