Our Rise Up Leaders remain steadfast in their struggle to ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of girls and women in their communities as they confront the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aisha Cooper Bruce, a Liberian Rise Up Leader, is drawing from her experience during Liberia’s Ebola crisis to advocate for girls’ and women’s priorities in the government’s response to COVID-19 and plans for economic recovery. Aisha is among hundreds of Rise Up Leaders who are addressing the needs of marginalized girls and women in this unprecedented moment. We are honored to support so many leaders like Aisha, and are grateful to you for enabling us to do so.
