GET READY!
The Standard 4 Subcommittee is led by Drs. Arpita Vyas and Vijay Khatri. Standard 4 has six components ("elements") collectively focused on CNUCOM faculty. In particular, Elements within the Standard examine faculty complement and training, scholarly works and professional development, and faculty contributions to the College's organization and governance.

GET SET!
The CNUCOM Faculty Council serves as the encompassing faculty entity within the CNUCOM, and is led by an Executive Committee currently including Drs. Thura Alkhayat, Scott Braley, Floyd Culler, Randall Enstrom, Mina Hah, Leonard Ranasinghe and Marty Rubin. As the main faculty body, the Faculty Council is an important pillar in shared governance at the CNUCOM, serving to establish and constitute faculty committees (including, for example, the Admissions and Student Promotions Committees) and, thereby, affecting student and faculty well-being, setting educational and faculty standards, and participating in the long-range strategic planning for the COM.

GO!
In 2019, CNUCOM faculty produced 88 scholarly works and publications, were awarded $60,000 in intramural funding through the CNUCOM mini-grant program, and secured extramural funding in excess of $3 million. In addition, faculty continue to serve our medical community through leadership and membership on the executive boards of numerous state, regional, national and international professional medical societies.
