Long Live Buffalo.
Well, if you told me you were drowning I would not lend a hand
I've seen your face before, my friend, but I don't know if you know who I am.

Reset.  A button on the face of our Nintendo growing up taught us of a powerful part of life, an uncanny incantation that wipes progress and returns operating systems to the beginning, a force as destructive as it is rejuvenating that lets us start over without letting us forget.

Every day is a simple experiment;  Sun comes up, we deal with our choices from yesterday, we make a bunch of new choices today, sun goes down, we reset during sleep.  By default, a reset restarts an incumbent operating system of which the results and outputs are well known.  Saved progress, the immutable consequences seen on bathroom scales, creases around our smiles and holes in the ozone, do not reset.  Unmanaged, this predictable cycle is tortuous and confining because we often overlook one unalienable truth:  We are who we choose to be.  Our mindset, attitude and outlook, the holy trinity of our operating systems, are as easy to change as they are to maintain.  Prior results do not guarantee future outcomes in Sisyphus self-fulfilling toil when one considers and pivots their operating system to redirect the daily experiment; small upstream changes incite impactful variances in yield.

The face of the enemies and obstacles we encounter do not change, we receive the same tests over and again until we pass.  Improve operating systems and scare the shit out of ghosts who will not recognize their old target.

I can feel it in the air tonight, oh Lord, oh Lord, oh Lord!
Well, I've been waiting for this moment for all my life! Oh Lord, Oh Lord!

Startup Spotlight - Kate Huber & Josh Ferry, CloudInsyte

Something you don't know about CloudInsyte is we relocated from NYC to Buffalo. Our CEO (Josh Ferry) grew up in the southtowns, but hasn’t lived here for the past 20 years. He convinced his wife and cofounder (Kate Huber) that Buffalo is a great place with great people by introducing her first to the Bills Mafia. Once she was sold on the culture, they dubbed their team and extended team of clients, partners and supporters the “InsyteMafia.”

CloudInsyte's superpower to share with the startup community is its core mission is its, really: to make procuring technology and security for businesses simpler and more cost-effective with a data-driven process. The platform aims to create a “magic quadrant” of vendors that is specific to your business and the project at hand. We make your IT and security teams look good too!
