CITY OF EDMONTON NOTICES:
  • Effective immediately, tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, disc golf and premier sports fields are closed. This is to ensure the health and safety of Edmontonians and to meet provincial orders around physical distancing. Park spaces like baseball diamonds and soccer fields will be open to the public for casual use only starting May 1, weather permitting. Users must adhere to 2 metre physical distancing rules, ensure gatherings are kept to 15 people or less and avoid or limit touching commonly touched surfaces like sporting equipment.
  • To prevent the COVID-19 spread, the City is temporarily suspending the distribution of complimentary flowers for visitors to put down on their loved one’s resting place on special days including Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
  • City of Edmonton golf courses will remain closed until further notice. This includes Victoria Golf Course and Driving Range, Rundle Park Golf Course and Riverside Golf Course.

GOVERNMENT OF ALBERTA REGISTRIES
  • To help limit the number of Albertans who need to visit registry agents in person, the Government of Alberta is temporarily allowing registry agents to provide corporate registry services, personal property registry services, and select motor vehicle services by phone, secure email, fax or mail.

  • For a full list of services available through alternative delivery methods, visit alberta.ca/covid19.
