Summer time is right around the corner, which means it's time to get on the lake. When spending time on the lake, it is good to know all things safety. Keep yourself, your friends, and family safe on the lake this year!
- Life Jackets: Wearing a life jacket on the lake is a must! Be sure to have lifejackets for everyone on board the boat as well.
- Watercraft Lights: Knowing which lights to use on your watercraft is important to keeping you and others safe. Typically you use a red and green sidelight that can be seen from far away. Most boats also use a white back light on the stern of the boat. Your docking lights are not to be used while going on a night time cruise.
- Never Go Alone: No matter what, keeping someone with you at all times keeps you safe in case something were to happen.
- Boating Safety Course: Stay up to date on your boater's safety to ensure you and your loved ones stay safe on the water.
