Current Updates
Spring has finally arrived! Growers are busy getting their drills ready for seeding, and we are working hard to deliver the 2020 Crop Plans. We are also busy uploading the Variable Rate prescriptions. There is excellent soil moisture in the area, and we are excited for the 2020 growing season!

Now that seeding is approaching, Andrea and Jesse from Crop Intelligence returned to Sure Growth's office to train us on the installation of weather stations! Our customers are looking forward to utilizing the data that Crop Intelligence collects. Water Driven Yield Potential (WYDP) is an amazing tool to assist in making agronomic decisions.

Carbon Credit Program

Many of you have received emails about Trimble’s Carbon Credits Program and are curious what it is all about. Growers may be eligible to receive payment for the sequestration of carbon via beneficial farming practices on a yearly basis. Trimble’s Carbon Credit Program is an industry leader in Alberta in documenting the beneficial practices that makes farmers eligible for compensation. In terms of a Carbon Credit program, Saskatchewan will be following in Alberta’s footsteps in the near future.

So… What does this mean for our clients?

Through Trimble Ag Software we are already documenting your beneficial farming practices and have the ability to work through the process to ensure you receive maximum return for your beneficial farming practices! As the situation continues to develop, we at Sure Growth will be sure to keep you updated, and ensure you are able to take full advantage of available carbon credit compensation going forward.

Spring Soil Sampling
We have some new clients joining us this year, so we are getting ready to complete some soil sampling this spring! A few showers have resulted in the fields being too wet for our sample truck to get into, but as soon as they are dry enough we can get in there and analyze the soil.
