Time to ease up slightly?

We’ve been in lockdown now over 4 weeks and results prove it was the right thing to do. Swift action to ‘flatten the curve’ meant our medical resources weren’t inundated. 
 
The lockdown rules are harsh, they needed to be, but now most states are starting to ease the rules making life more bearable. Not in Victoria though, which is maintaining the strict regime.
 
With the curve now 'flattened', I can’t see the problem in allowing people to go boating or fishing with partners or family and whether the boat goes out from a marina or from a ramp, surely this can still be done within the guidelines

Victoria being my home state, I’m also finding it difficult to reconcile how going shopping at the supermarket or Bunnings, or walking/jogging around the ‘Tan’ in the Domain with hundreds of others to get some exercise, is any safer than boating or fishing when done within Covid-19 guidelines. 
 
To the Victorian Premier Dan Andrews and the Vic Government I would respectfully say; come on guys, you’ve done a great job to date, but surely it’s now time to relook at some of the harsher rules and loosen the reigns, just ever so slightly.
