May Spotlight Dancer

This month, we are shining the spotlight on 16-year old Calista Cardinale! Calista is a Sophomore at Winters High School and is also the class president! 

Calista has been dancing at Dixon Dance Studio for seven years. She first started dancing because her sister and cousins danced and she wanted to be just like them. Calista’s favorite dance memories include getting to make new friends and be a part of a great dance family. 

When asked about her dance friends, she said, “I love all the girls I dance with including my weekly classes, Dance Company and the Competition Team! I love bonding and dancing with them all and I am lucky to have dance friends for life."

Ms. Kristen says, "Calista is an extremely dedicated dancer. In class, she lights up a room with her smile and laugh. She makes everyone around her feel inspired. I loved being able to throw a challenge her way and see how she perfects it."

Calista’s awesome future goal is, “to live on a beach in Hawaii with my dog.” (Hey Calista? Can we come to!?) She wants her fellow dancers to know, “The dance studio is a safe place where you can express your feelings through dance and/or with friends.”

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

Tuition
Automatic tuition is ran on the 3rd of each month. Tuition is late after the 7th and will be assessed a $10 late fee. Students with delinquent accounts will be dropped after the 15th and will have to pay an enrollment fee to register.  

Observation Windows
Observation windows will only be open the first full week of the month.  All other weeks of the month the windows will be closed.  This is for the benefit of the dancers.  When the windows are closed dancers are able to focus without distraction and learn faster.  It also gives them something to look forward to, so they can show their parents what they have learned that month.
