The Canadian Tulip Festival will be offering ALL our performances, programming, and public participation ONLINE. We will continue to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands with all Canadians and the world through our website, our social media, and on our new YouTube Channel.
Commisionners Park is closed. The City of Ottawa, the NCC and the Canadian Tulip Festival ask everyone to Please Stay HOME and stay SAFE! There will be no staff, tour guides, volunteers, facilities, attractions or concerts on-site at Commissioners Park / Dow’s Lake this year.
24-hour Bloom Cam for Cherry Blossoms at High Park, Toronto
A beloved spring tradition, every year thousands of people visit High Park to catch a glimpse of the delicate pink flowers on Toronto’s Sakura (cherry blossom) trees. This year, as a part of the City’s COVID-19 response, High Park is closed for public safety reasons, during peak bloom. To ensure no one misses the annual bloom, the City is bringing spring indoors. Check in on the continuous livestream of the High Park grove 24 hours a day and watch the progress of the cherry tree blooms until peak bloom ends, as well as other interesting virtual events.
